Demfati was built on a simple belief: technology should make it easier for people to organize, engage and earn — not harder.

As digital behavior evolved, so did our focus. What began as a learning platform gradually transformed into a full-scale event technology company solving real-world challenges around ticketing, voting, registrations and payments.

Where it started

Demfati was founded in August 2017 under the name Ocoms. At the time, Ocoms operated as a tech education and experimentation platform, focused on helping people understand emerging digital tools and ideas.

As usage patterns changed and new opportunities emerged, the platform began attracting users beyond education — creators, communities and organizers looking for practical digital solutions.

The evolution

By 2018, Ocoms had gained visibility across multiple regions, prompting deeper exploration into scalable technology products. Between November 2019 and August 2020, the team researched and tested proprietary digital interfaces, expanding its technical capabilities.

In November 2020, the company underwent a strategic rebrand, transitioning from Ocoms Ltd. to Demfati. This marked a shift from experimentation to infrastructure — building systems that could support real economic activity.

Demfati today

Today, Demfati is an event technology company providing tools for ticket sales, online voting, registrations, digital wallets and messaging-based engagement.

The platform integrates websites with WhatsApp, Telegram and other digital channels, enabling organizers to reach audiences directly while maintaining centralized control over data, payments and analytics.

Demfati operates as a growing technology group, continuously developing scalable solutions designed for African markets and beyond.
